We Are Getting Excited For Summer! |
That warm weather can only mean one thing…Summer is around the corner! And with that comes Reach & Rise® summer cycle fun! Registration is open now for kids ages 6-17. Summer groups run the week of June 19th through the week of August 14th and will occur at the Butler YMCA and the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA. Kids who will be attending camp at either the Butler YMCA or Camp Rose can come straight to the group following camp once a week!
| |
We are also looking for supportive, caring enthusiastic adults to provide support for the many kids we serve in groups. Mentors are asked to commit to two hours, once a week for 14-16 weeks. Groups are led by two mentors who are 21+, have attended 15 hours of training, and have provided their clearances. |
Keep an eye out for more information on our Mentor Training in June! |
Help us REACH more youth so they can RISE to a better future! |
| |
The Reach & Rise® group youth mentoring program is a national, evidence-based program recognized by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention program (OJJDP). We help kids in a group setting learn about and manage emotions, build social skills, try new things, and develop and maintain healthy relationships. |

The Y's Summer Camp offers the perfect solution! Time for kids to be kids and adults to get paid to have fun in the sun. We still have a few camper and counselor spots open at all three camps! |
- Three FUN Camp Locations: Butler Y, South Butler & Karns City
-
Butler Y & Karns City Day Camps will be bused to ARMCO Park! South Butler Day Camp will meet at Laura J. Doerr Memorial Park.
